The atmosphere here is very welcoming, the selections of groceries are mostly locally crafted, the sandwiches are amazing, and Kelly and Nathan are warm, friendly awesome folks who work here. It was a delight to meet them and learn about this place. Come check out this wonderful market/deli for yourself; it is a local gem and I will be coming back often!

Amazing sammies & salads plus so many baked goodies & local groceries! Simply the best hoagie Iβve ever had (the Twisted LT). Bread was crusty & airy, meat was local and top notch, and the avo, cuc & sprouts were perfect additions. Plus it was MASSIVE- two filling meals that left you feeling satiated yet not bloated. Also loved the Reuben- perfectly proportioned & house sauce was so good! Awesome potato salad and Greek salad (diff from the norm & much better), and the to-go salad with beef was top notch. Really appreciated the locally sourced groceries selection - the house roasted deli turkey was SO moist, and the take & bake chicken pot pie was a fav along with the pimento! Canβt wait to try more of their seemingly endless gourmet baked sweets & daily specials. Truly a bit of everything β and all was delicious!

I ordered my half Italian grinder online at 3:03 PM and it was ready for pickup by 3:08 PM. I was on Depot Street when I ordered so I was impressed on the speed. I parked in the Wall Street Garage, walked to The Forager, picked up the sandwich, got back to the car, and was out of downtown in nine minutes (*very* impressive!) without paying for parking. The sandwich itself was delicious! I opted for no lettuce right now due to cyclospora paranoia haha. I'm from Jersey so I'm picky when it comes to the meat and bread of my subs but everything was fresh and tasty. For $12 you get a big portion! The young man behind the counter who handed me my sandwich was very respectful and kind when I walked in. I can't wait to visit again with friends to look around the store more instead of being in a hungry rush.

Great idea to have a deli in Wall Street (my favorite street in Asheville). Having the few tables to enjoy the sub while looking out on Wall St is so great. Coffee would make it amazing! Super customer friendly and energetic staff adds to the neighborhood vibe. We tried the Italian Grinder as they were out of Cuban. Sub is sizable even at half portion and tastes good but we wish bread is of higher quality and bag of chips was stale (all important for the ultimate sub experience). Might be an idea to locate chips and drinks within grabbing distance so as not to hold up other customers. We want to love this place and we want you to stay and we hope for a better experience the next time.

Had so much fun shopping here! The store isnβt huge, but itβs packed with local treasures and unique finds. I know a lot of people come for the sandwiches, but I ended up leaving with local pickles, mustard, and some absolutely amazing bread. This is exactly the kind of place I love discovering when I travelβfull of local flavor and products you wonβt find everywhere else. Friendly, charming, and definitely worth a stop!
